Ladera Burleigh Heads
-
Burleigh Headland and the greater region is defined by the caldera that formed over 20 million years ago. Ladera sits upon land which is timeless and beautiful, albeit urbanised today. The architecture of Ladera tries to evoke this sense of connection to the enduring qualities of the Burleigh landscape including the solidity of basalt, lush rainforest, sparkling sand, radiant ocean and luminous sky.
The exteriors of Ladera are formed through a restrained material palette that allows a geometry of simple, clean lines to form a strong but understated composition. Forming a backdrop for vegetation, Ladera's simple exterior is embellished only with texture and linework.
