Triiio

  • Triiio is conceived as a trio of residential buildings that nestle into the edge of Paga Hill Foreshore, forming a new luxury typology for Port Moresby that is grounded in landscape, wellbeing, and community living. Rather than asserting a singular monumental form, the development is composed as three interrelated volumes that step with the terrain, carving out light-filled intervals, breezeways, and shared thresholds between built form and hillside.

The architectural intent is to create a contemporary residential environment where wellness is not an added amenity but a defining framework of daily life. A dedicated health and fitness precinct anchors the development, extending into landscaped terraces and outdoor training spaces that respond to the tropical climate. Childcare facilities are integrated as part of a broader community ecosystem, enabling families to live, work, and care within a cohesive and supportive setting. Complementing these is a wellness-focused amenity program that includes restorative gardens, recovery spaces, and social gathering areas, reinforcing the idea of balance between activity and retreat.

Materially and formally, Triiio is envisioned as calm and enduring, with a strong connection to natural ventilation, shaded edges, and framed outlooks toward the harbour and city beyond. The trio of buildings collectively forms a new residential edge condition—one that softens the interface between steep hillside and coastal plain, while positioning luxury not as excess, but as spatial generosity, health, and connection to place.
