Studio Workshop Architects were engaged to design and deliver a Foreshore boardwalk, shaping it as a continuous public experience that strengthens the connection between the city and the waterfront around Paga Hill. The design approach would focus on creating a sequence of inviting spaces along the promenade, integrating shade structures that respond to the tropical climate while providing comfort and visual identity.

Along the journey, a variety of community-focused gathering points would be embedded. Places to pause, meet, and engage while encouraging social interaction, informal events, and everyday use.

The boardwalk would be conceived not just as circulation infrastructure, but as a civic landscape that celebrates place, culture, and coastal experience through thoughtful spatial design.
